Islam gave the Muslims of India a sense of identity, Mughals gave them territory, Iqbal gave them a sense of destiny. However, Jinnah by leading the Pakistan movement and creating the state of Pakistan, he gave them all three.
To say, for a Pakistani he is simply the Quaid-i-Azam or the Great Leader. Whatever their political affiliation, they believe there is no one quite like him.
Jinnah requires no introduction, this name itself is a legend, an identity, an ideology, in-fact history orbits Jinnah. He was the greatest of leaders, indeed a chosen one. The guardian of Muslims of India.
Today’s Colleges and Universities parades him as a role model, and we can see a numerous record of papers describing Jinnah.
Jinnah was a man of concreate character
Jinnah was a man of concreate character and limitless qualities, the attributes like, honesty, determination, integrity, and concreate resolution are some of the parts of his characteristics that portray Mr. Jinnah as extraordinary, however, were recognized by all his contemporaries as well.
Let’s say, British diplomat Lord Listowel rated Mr. Jinnah as, A bigger political giant of the twentieth century than even General de Gaulle. American President Harry S. Truman considered him as, The recipient of the devotion of loyalty seldom accorded to any man.
However, Sir Agha Khan III said: “Of all the statesmen that I have known in my life - Clemenceau, Lloyd George, Churchill, Curzon, Mussolini, Mahatma Gandhi - Jinnah is the most remarkable. None of these men in my view outshone him in the strength of character, and in that almost uncanny combination of prescience and resolution which is statecraft.”
Moreover, Jinnah’shostile critics The Big Three—Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, British Prime Minister Clement Attlee, and U.S. President Harry Truman considered him as, A Political Saint, since Jinnahwas an exemplary figure, he set a high standard of ethics in politics and an air of not compromising on the principles.
Nehru expressed Jinnah as, “One of the most extraordinary men in history”
His statesmanship was recognized by his political adversaries like Nehro and Gandhi. Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, has expressed him as, “One of the most extraordinary men in history”. Gandhi was also sure about the honesty of Jinnah when he said: “I believe no power can buy Mr Jinnah”.
Nehru’s sister and a prominent figure, Mrs Vijay Lakshmi Pundit, stated: “If the Muslim League had 100 Gandhis and 200 Azads and Congress had only ONE Jinnah, then India would not have been divided!”
The remarkable pillar of his character was working with diligence, that resulted in him in winning an independent state.
The historian, Hector Bolitho in his Book “Jinnah Creator of Pakistan,” Jinnah-one of the few men in India who knew that to die for a cause was easy, but that to live for it called for massive and constant courage.
Indeed, Jinnah was a man of iron discipline, who had denied himself the luxury of any qualities which might loosen his concentration upon his purpose. He was dogmatic and sure of himself, Jinnah’s ability and personality are such that it is not much of an exaggeration to say that he was the Muslim League.
He was a man whose judgment and authority was never questioned lightly by his colleagues, since he was capable of winning the trust and confidence of his people.
Also, he was credited with ruling the working committee of the Muslim League with an iron hand.
In-fact Jinnah was a Miracles in himself, of which history speaks the louder. For the entire community of Muslim India, he is a Political Saint, A Messiah; by turning Muslim minority of the Indian subcontinent into a nation, by giving them identity, a safe haven in the form of establishing the largest Muslim state, of which the entire nation is obliged.
Jinnah was not only a sympathizer of Muslims but to humanity
Although, Jinnah was not only a sympathizer of Muslims but to humanity, as he strongly projected unity, justice, and equality for all communities in Pakistan.
In support of minorities, he, during his address to the first Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, stated, You are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place of worship in this state of Pakistan.
You may belong to any
religion or caste or creed, that has nothing to do with the business of State.

- OIC meeting in Islamabad!
- Can OIC do something practical to bring freedom to Kashmir?
- Can OIC bring freedom to Palestine?
- and other oppressed Muslim nations?
EXCLUSIVE
By Farukh Shehzad / Editor-in-Chief
If we look at the history over the past several decades that a good number of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summits took place in various parts of the world to order to resolve hardships of Muslim ummah but we did not experience any practical, bold outcome from all the past OIC meetings.
There are huge flaws in policies of OIC that require serious work to be done to inject strength in OIC's weak policies.
With the current weak structure and policies of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), it has no capacity and capability to take bold and true actions/steps for the freedom of people of Kashmir from Indian atrocities and for the Muslims of Palestine from Israeli forces atrocities and occupation and for all other Muslim nations in the word to give them a comfortable environment for passing their life.
It is super important for all the OIC members to stand up with truth, honesty every time in order to achieve positive and practical results in the future.
If OIC continues with its same weak and unchanged policies so there will be no desired and practical outcome at any stage in the time to come.
No doubt, Taking place Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in Islamabad is a great achievement for PTI govt but according to me, it was a half achievement, not a complete achievement! Because with OIC’s weak policies bringing freedom for Kashmir, Palestine and other Muslim nations shall remain just a dream for all of us.

ISLAMABAD, DEC 22: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil on Wednesday met Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohan Wijewickrama and expressed grief at the lynching of Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumar by a charged mob in Sialkot earlier this month, saying that the nation was “ashamed” at the act of “cruelty”.
Kumara, a senior manager at a factory in Sialkot, was tortured to death on Dec 3 by hundreds of protesters, including the factory employees, and his body was later burnt over allegations of blasphemy. The brutal killing drew widespread condemnation from political circles and human rights bodies.
A first information report was registered against 900 workers of Rajco Industries on the application of Uggoki Station House Officer Armaghan Maqt under sections 302, 297, 201, 427, 431, 157, 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code and 7 and 11WW of the Anti-Terrorism Act. Scores of suspects have been rounded up by law enforcers since then.
Sitting alongside Wijewickrama and Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Mohammad Tahir Ashrafi at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Islamabad today, Jamil said no one except the Almighty Allah had the right to burn anyone. “It was [an act of] cruelty that what our people committed”.”I told the [Sri Lankan] high commissioner that we are here to say sorry,” the cleric said.
Another Sri Lankan hired as factory manager
Meanwhile, Ashrafi said that the educational expenses of the slain Sri Lankan national Kumara’s children would be borne by the factory owners for whom he worked, while the man who has replaced him was also a Sri Lankan.
“We are thankful to the Sri Lankans that in this atmosphere of fear, one of them chose to work here,” he added.
Kumara’s lynching has been widely condemned in Pakistan’s religious circles.
On Dec 7, days after the incident, clerics from various schools of thought had visited the Sri Lankan Embassy in Islamabad and unanimously condemned the lynching of Kumara, calling it “un-Islamic” and extrajudicial” as they demanded that strict legal action be meted out to those responsible.
The clerics had also issued a joint statement with Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology Dr Qibla Ayaz saying, “It was an inhumane act, and to accuse someone of blasphemy without proof is not in accordance with the Shariah.”
“The strictest possible legal action must be taken against these miscreants,” he had said.

LAHORE, DEC 22: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has again reclaimed the top spot in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 International (T20I) Batting Rankings, a week after slipping to second place behind Englishman David Malan.
After the latest update by the ICC, Azam now shares the number one rank with Malan, both having a rating of 805 points.
“With scores of 0 and 7 in the first two T20Is against the West Indies, Babar dropped two spots to number three in last week’s rankings update,” the ICC statement said.
“He came roaring back and is now tied at the top of the rankings with Dawid Malan after a brilliant 79 in the final T20I that helped Pakistan complete a clean sweep over West Indies,” it added.
Babar is now at the top in the men’s T20I and One-Day International (ODI) rankings going into the final nine days of the year, the ICC said in a write-up on the batsman’s “stellar” year.
Babar overtook Indian captain Virat Kohli to become the number one-ranked ODI batsman in the world in April. He followed that up by usurping another record from Kohli, becoming the fastest cricket player to reach the milestone of 2,000 runs in the T20I format, having accomplished the feat in just 52 innings compared to Kohli’s 56.
Later in May, Azam was voted the ICC’s Men’s Player of the Month for April 2021.
Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan — who is the only batsman to have crossed the 1,000-run mark in T20Is in a calendar year — has climbed to the third spot with a career-best rating of 798.
“Rizwan was the Player of the Match in the final T20I against West Indies, helping his side chase 208 in less than 19 overs with a brilliant 45-ball 87,” the ICC said.
Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne topped the ICC Test player rankings for the very first time after “sensational performances” during the ongoing Ashes.
