CGSS, SMEDA to work together for increasing skills, spread knowledge
ISLAMABAD, JAN 2021: On 28th January, CGSS Management led by Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad met Rashid Aman, Provincial Chief, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Government of Pakistan at Peshawar.
During the meeting, projects of mutual interests were
brought under consideration. It was agreed that both parties will jointly
organize training programs and workshops on a variety of topics aimed at
increasing the skills and knowledge. These trainings and workshops will be
organized for capacity building and skill development.
Furthermore, CGSS and SMEDA will also work on policy
advocacy. Seminars, workshops and training programs will also be conducted for
strengthening SMEs. Through these training programs students, professionals,
and entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to excel in their desired fields.
In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding will also be signed for cooperation.
