Ukraine's First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheppar and Romanian Ambassador to Ukraine Cristian-Leon Turcanu have discussed the creation of the Crimean Platform and cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
Both sides discussed these issues at a meeting in Kyiv on
October 20, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
"During the meeting, Emine Dzheppar informed the
ambassador about relevant issues for Ukraine within international
organizations, the initiatives of the Ukrainian side in the regional and European
dimensions, as well as the measures to be taken by our country on international
platforms and with the involvement of foreign partners, with a view to keeping
the issue of Russian aggression against Ukraine in the focus of the
international community," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
Dzheppar also raised the issue of creating the Crimean
Platform, noting that its key task is to further consolidate and coordinate the
efforts of the policy of non-recognition and de-occupation of Crimea.
